We are making a simple change to our login screen. The change will come into effect in the near future. You do not have to take any special actions but if you have previously checked that your password is remembered, you will need to enter it again when the new screens become valid. This change is taking place together with the launch of our new web site.

The reason for this change is better support for mobile devices and to follow the currently accepted practices of logging in with an email address.

So in future you will be able to login either with your email address or with our traditional user name format of “companyid.userid”. So either john.doe@mycompany.com or mycompany.john will work.

Note that if your same email has been entered for a user account in a different company (e.g. you have a sister organisation using Manu Online) then you will need to use the traditional method. By default, the page will only remember your user name and not your password. Remembering of passwords is a feature of different browsers. Consult your browser documentation for further information. We will also be changing our default application web site to login.manuonline.com. Logging in from our web site will always take you here and it will no longer be necessary to enter the company id before logging in.
